Rollerbladers for Cancer Headed for El Paso: Skating Through Marathon and Alpine This Weekend

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 19, 2010 - MARATHON, Texas – Two athletes are attempting to raise one million dollars for Huntington's Disease, Leukemia and Lymphoma, by rollerblading across the USA in a project called "In Motion For A  Million".  Having already bladed more than 1,750 miles across America, the team is well on their way towards San Diego, California: their final stop.  The team is expected to come through Marathon and Alpine today and Saturday, March 20.

"The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is extremely grateful to Dan Bowen and Steven Feigenbaum for their tremendous effort. Their journey is doing a great job of raising awareness for the need to support research for blood cancer and Huntington's Disease. Their decision to take on this challenge is truly inspirational and it seems like they're having quite a bit of fun while also doing something significant for two very important causes." Once the team passes through Marathon and Alpine, they will continue towards El Paso through Fort Davis, Kent, Van Horn, Sierra Bianca, Esperanza, McNary, Acala, Tornillo and Fabens.  The team is inviting media members to join in on the rollerblading; media may skate along for as long as they would like.
