Unitask Announces Cloud Based Output Management Support

The extension of the Output Director architecture provides for a seamless integration in the growing movement of Oracle E-Business Suite computing for both the cloud and an externally hosted environment.  The extension facilitates full transparency and flexibility by allowing companies a choice in which architecture they choose to implement: self hosted, externally hosted, or fully outsourced—without service degradation or user impact.

Output Director further allows for the user to print to a wide range of devices—from lower-cost cloud-based print devices through high capacity output printers—regardless of whether the system is implemented using a self-hosted architecture or configured to benefit from the cloud. In addition, specialty devices such as check and bar code printers are supported, and users can manage remotely printed data and print to email distribution lists. Finally, the software ensures extension of the native data security while enabling enterprise output management from the cloud.
