FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 18, 2010 -
First TATAs in Singur, West Bengal, then Reliance in Uttar Pradesh, then POSCO in Orissa and now Vedanta in Orissa. The environment agenda comprising pollution, forest, tribes, river; the industrial agenda of growth, infrastructure, employment generation, profits; and the ever powerful agenda of political parties of vote bank, all seems working very nicely for 'D-industrialization' in India. We the students pursuing various streams like Engineering, MBA, Architecture, Medical Science, Commerce, Literature, etc are the worst hit by these varied blame game. Where are we heading up to ?
"It seems we are all going back to the history of apes where we lived in jungles and ate fruits. "
The complete interest of a Nation, where everyone talks about 'Youth Power' is not only being completely ignored but we are also being brought into a situation where we seriously need to think what education we are pursuing and what are the employment opportunities we have in India?. The way the industrialization in India is facing problems, a strong message is being conveyed to all the budding graduates, and also to probable entrepreneurs, who wish to build their own industry in India, that there is a question to be replied "what future we have in India?". Every sector is facing problem. You take Telecom, Infrastrucutre, Medical, Manufacturing, FMCG, Metal and Mining industry, some or the other problem, either from the State or from the Central Government, is only bringing difficult situations for these industries. Going by the news appearing, Environment and Forest issues, Land issues, Water issue, Tribal issues and Pollution issue are ruling headlines. Everybody talks about their area of problems, but what about the future generation? The biggest challenge that a country faces is the optimization of Youth Power by providing them ample quality employment opportunities.
We talk about foreign investments, multinationals and a host of benefits for industries in India. None of these schemes would work, till the issues of political ambitions and agendas v/s environmental escape routes v/s industrialization are not solved immediately.
"If you can count how many eggs a foreign chicken laid in India, you would know the hope and the scope of future industrialization in India. "
I am deciding to pursue my career abroad and put my brain in a country where it works more.
I see my employment opportunities only decreasing in India. I felt that the 18 month recession and India coming through out of it successfully was only due to two reasons , one, the industrial production that broadly never stopped and second, the sufficient consumption. As the demand and supply rule never changed, the recession did not dent the Indian economy as expected.
I remember the intervention of all political leaders, when Jet Airways and Kingfisher decided to throw people out of jobs, and a statement coming for the industries to bear and cooperate. These are industries only, that run the GDP of this country.
We as the Youth of India need to decide what is good for us and what is hurting us. Environment v/s Industries v/s Employment v/s Political Agenda - What future we have in India?
Write your views and let the people know, who deciding our fates.
