By using ELRStudio Closed Captioning software, you can also decode your line-21-captioned tapes to a timed text file by connecting your VTR to any computer with a low-cost TV card or you can capture captions received from Link Electronic closed-caption encoders that can do data recovery via RS232.
Once you install the ELRStudio Software suite and acquire an activation key, you can access either the Closed Captioning or subtitling programs. With only one initial install and a shared interface, learning the program is fast and simple. All files produced in the ELRStudio format are interchangeable between programs.
