Atlanta, March 16 /RDPR/- The Gospel Power house Malaco Records has expanded their recorded label to now encompass an Urban division. As they expand into this genre of music they have singled out various artist to be the face and the foundation of their new division. One of the more recognizable talents signed to this division of Malaco Records is Atlanta's very own Brandy Hambrick also by her stage name Ms. B'Havin.
Ms.B'Havin emerged onto the scene in 2004 with her club anthem “Bottle Action” that was later reproduced by Nitti Beats. This hit single gained immediate attention both good and bad, some clubs in Atlanta, stop serving liquor in a bottle due to the content of the song. However the song back an over night success , and catapulted Ms. B'Havin career into the next level allowing her to land a feature on Brooke Valentines Remix to “Girl Fight” and the opportunity to appear on Young Joc “I Know You See it, which she co-wrote and received and BMI award for. After the success of the Young Joc single, Ms. B'Havin made a decision to work behind the scene, as a writer. Choosing to write and develop her talent and skills she spent the next 4 years simply working on placements and building up her catalog.
During this time Ms. B'Havin was approached by several record labels, who where familiar with her talent and skills approached her about possibly signing with a label. After a brief trip to New York to visit several of the major labels Ms.B'Havin returned to Atlanta, set to keep pushing Brook'lynn Entertainment. Upon her return, she was introduced to the executives at Malaco Records, after meeting with the label she was then presented with the opportunity to become a part of The Gospel Power House's Urban Division which she took.
Currently Malaco Records & Ms. B'Havin have released the single “Turn It Up” ft Flo-Rider, which has started to gain moment on various Rhythmic stations as well as currently picking up steam in Markets such as Atlanta, Miami, Jacksonville and New York.
“I am ready to give back to my fans” states Ms. B'Havin, “they have been asking for me to come back, and give them more quality music, and that is what I have done.” “I am ready to take the industry by storm.”
In addition to pushing the single “Turn It Up Ft Flo-Rider, Ms. B'havin will release her current mix-tape project “Ego Trippin” , which can currently be download off of WWW. livemixtapes.com, into the streets of Atlanta on March 20th, the launch of the mix-tape will be followed up by a weeks worth of mix-tape parties and performances.
