March 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Starling Advanced Communications is announcing the formation of new strategic partnerships with RuSat Satellite Telecommunications Teleport to market its StarCar Satcom antenna system.

StarCar is a unique, roof-mounted, flat-panel Ku band antenna based on Starling's Coherent Multi-Panel Antenna (CoMPATM) technology, which maximizes efficiency to guarantee connectivity in any climate or geographic environment while reducing the amount and cost of satellite usage. StarCar weighs in at a mere 60 lb/27.2 kg, with all miniaturized components housed within the unit itself.

"We are pleased to partner with Rusat" states Jacob Keret, VP Marketing and Sales, Starling Advanced Communications. "Companies and governments worldwide have come to recognize the value of Starling antennas in mission-critical environments, such as military operations and earthquake rescues."

Front-line units and first responders can easily remain in touch using StarCar’s ability to transmit and receive video,  VOIP, and heavy data files of up to 40Mbps. StarCar achieves instant connectivity without the presence of a terrestrial backbone, whether it was compromised by a natural or manmade disaster or never existed because of the remoteness of the location.

"We like to stay ahead of competition and focus on new products with cutting-edge technologies,” states Sergey Alymov, CEO, RuSat Satellite Telecommunications Teleport. “RuSat immediately recognized the value of the StarCar for many markets, including military, homeland security, search and rescue, and broadcasting. Starling's flat-panel antennas are aerodynamically superior, yet provide seamless connectivity, even at the highest vehicular speeds. Given the rapid ROI provided by minimizing satellite usage, we expect StarCar to be a leading seller for us."
