Campbell's novel, first published in 2004, is set in the Montana park's Swiftcurrent Valley near Many Glacier Hotel. Campbell worked two summers as a bellman at Many Glacier Hotel while he was in college. “After hiking and climbing and hiking extensively in the park,” said Campbell, “I couldn’t think of a better setting for my magical adventure novel.” Donations to centennial program, which will come from sales of the novel’s trade paperback, Kindle, and other e-book formats, will made prior to the summer tourist season.
