Novelist Donates to Glacier Park Centennial Program

Author Malcolm R. Campbell and Vanilla Heart Publishing will donate a portion of the profits from the new edition of his novel 'The Sun Singer' to Glacier National Park

March 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Author Malcolm R. Campbell and Vanilla Heart Publishing will donate 50% of the profits from the new second edition of “The Sun Singer” during March, April and May to the Glacier National Park Centennial Program Committee.

Campbell's novel, first published in 2004, is set in the Montana park's Swiftcurrent Valley near Many Glacier Hotel. Campbell worked two summers as a bellman at Many Glacier Hotel while he was in college.

“After hiking and climbing and hiking extensively in the park,” said Campbell, “I couldn’t think of a better setting for my magical adventure novel.”

Donations to centennial program, which will come from sales of the novel’s trade paperback, Kindle, and other e-book formats, will made prior to the summer tourist season.

Campbell, a contributing writer for Georgia's "Living Jackson Magazine," is also the author of "Jock Stewart and the Missing Sea of Fire."
