Cultural Awareness International Senior Facilitator to Speak at Global Import Training Seminar

The International Trade Center’s award winning Global Market Series-Import Training welcomes expert Tasnim Benhalim, Senior Facilitator with Cultural Awareness International (CAI) to speak on topics regarding managing cross cultural communications.

The Global Market Series-Import Certification, an award winning seven part series presented by industry experts and certified by the Institute for Supply Management, Dallas, will be available by webinar/seminar for the first time and will feature Tasnim McCormick Benhalim, Senior Facilitator with Cultural Awareness International (CAI). She will be speaking May 25th and address topics on Managing Cross Cultural Communications and how one can become aware of how different cultural behaviors can impact your business transactions. Attendees can participate in person or via webinar.

Tasnim is a Senior Facilitator with Cultural Awareness International. She has experience with clients and students from over twenty-three countries and is exceptionally skilled at creating environments that build trust and communication across diverse populations.

Cultural Awareness International (CAI) has 20 years of industry experience in providing exceptional cross-cultural programs and relocation services for corporate clients around the world. Their customized programs, delivered by highly experienced cross-cultural facilitators, are designed to give participants the skills and strategies for integrating effectively within the multi-cultural arena. CAI works closely with HR, project managers and team leaders to develop programs that uniquely address today’s business objectives.

The Import seminar series welcomes other leading industry experts on related topics including: how to establish a decision making process to compare outsourcing options; how to determine landed costs; the key components and best practices in international supply chain management; how the use of an FTZ might work for your company or product; the role of a customs broker and freight forwarder; the most common international payment mechanisms; the legal agreements and forms used in an import purchase transaction and become familiar with  C-TPAT and other current compliance topics.
