Written and directed by Dorothy Booraem, "Awaken the Witch", a $10,000 HD horror movie, produced by Unfiltered Entertainment, Inc. and shot in Lincoln, Nebraska, was picked up by Gravitas Ventures/The Bosko Group for Video on Demand (VOD) distribution in March 2010.

The Gravitas VOD deal will make "Awaken the Witch" available to more than 15 million viewers across the continental United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Gravitas programs films to dozens of cable, satellite, and telco VOD providers including Charter Communications, DISH Network, RCN, AT&T, Rogers and Verizon FIOS.
Influenced by Japanese horror, "Awaken the Witch" follows three friends who anger the spirit of an evil witch by playing a childrens game on her grave. As the witch's spirit begins to take over their lives, the girls desperately search for a way to stop her.
Prior to "Awaken the Witch", Dorothy Booraem wrote and directed the short "The Deadly Bridal Shower", shot with fashion dolls in scale adjusted settings. This story of a woman who attends an old friend's wedding shower but doesn't fit in was an official selection of the 2007 Omaha Film Festival.
