The Sterling Silver Heart Box dates from 1886. The silver figural vanity box in the shape of a heart with a wave like design adorns the entire box and frames the simple heart that sits in the middle of the cover. It's the perfect place to add a loved one's monogram. The pinched edges of the box compliment the waved design. Made by Charles Stuart Harris, London 1886. Fully hallmarked on both the body and cover of the box. Excellent condition, very nice patina 3.8 troy ounces. The box measures approx. 4 1/4" x 4" and stands approx. 1" high.
