Looking up at the skyline of White Plains Wednesday night it should be no surprise to see those famous windows turn from blue to green.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the top of Westchester’

We hope this will encourage people to visit and enjoy all there is to see and do in New York's 'Golden Apple'."
Cappelli Enterprises began the tradition in December, lighting the tower blue and white to celebrate the eight nights of Hanukah and red and green from Christmas until New Year Year’s Eve.
The tower will be lit on other upcoming special occasions such as Earth day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
Tower I of the Ritz Carlton, Westchester soars 44 stories high at 400 ft. The tower was completed in December, 2007, making it the tallest building between New York City and Boston. Inside the tower are The Residences at the Ritz Carlton, Westchester, 42, the Restaurant, located on the 42 floor, and BLT Steak restaurant, located on the ground floor.
