For the second year running, students at five Cobb County high schools in Georgia registered themselves online for the 2010 Advanced Placement (AP) exams using the AP Exam Registration Service developed by Total Registration. Each high school using the service saved their AP program staff significant time while reducing the stress associated with AP exam registration. By providing a platform for students to register themselves, the Exam Registration Service relieves AP Coordinators from having to hand-enter student and exam data and the service automatically calculates fees and payments.
After students have completed their exam registration, AP Coordinators at each school loogged into their school’s website and printed reports and rosters by simply clicking a button. Because the AP Exam Registration Service helps reduce registration errors, Cobb County High Schools also saved money by placing an accurate AP exam order with the College Board. Schools used automatically generated reports to ensure they ordered exams only for students that had paid in full.
Cobb County High Schools have joined hundreds of schools across the U.S. that used the AP Exam Registration Service this year. Total Registration, www.TotalRegistration.net, has provided online registration services for more than three years. In 2010, 58,000+ students registered for more than 114,000 exams using the AP Exam Registration Service.
