Maveryck Marketing Group LLC of Ellenwood (suburb of Atlanta), Georgia, a 100 percent minority-owned sales and marketing consultancy that helps businesses increase brand awareness and gross revenue, has been awarded the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification by the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (GMSDC), a not-for-profit regional council of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. The GMSDC fosters and expands mutually beneficial economic opportunities between certified MBEs, corporations and government entities within the state of Georgia.
Over the next 24 months, Maveryck’s business development efforts will focus more on Fortune 500 companies, selected government agencies and companies located in developing countries throughout the world. With an unstable economy at hand, many of Maveryck’s former client’s (small businesses) have either folded or are barely surviving. “In order to sustain a small business on this rough economic terrain, smaller businesses must pool their resources with other businesses, align themselves with large corporations and position its offering globally”, said Keith M. Philpot, Lead Consultant/Managing Member of Maveryck Marketing Group, LLC.
Maveryck has experience locally and internationally consistently producing effective results. In 2006, Maveryck helped boost a client’s revenue 40% with sales support. Three years later, Maveryck co-created a campaign which gave a large Caribbean foods company its digital DNA, including a unique platform where the company can interact with its target audience around the world.
Aligning with government agencies is not new business for Maveryck, which recently completed a successful notice placement campaign for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. One of the major results of that campaign was more than one million ad impressions and exposure for the CDC at half the cost.
Similarly successful, was specialized “Marketing 101” workshops for employees of a state government agency in California. Employees left the workshops with a solid grasp of marketing concepts, strategies and tactics. “I am extremely pleased to be a part of the GMSDC and have already begun to make mutually benefiting connections”
Philpot believes that continuing to form strategic partnerships with great global performance companies will propel Maveryck Marketing to the next level and will definitely position the company to serve large global organizations that seek brand awareness and growth.
