The market for Mac-compatible web filtering and blocking tools has undoubtedly increased with Mac computers becoming more common-place in businesses and schools. Indeed, Mac users now account for 5% of the world’s computer users. In 2009, Apple saw a rise in malware and security threats, increasing the need for Mac security solutions - the myth that Macs are not affected by viruses has now been dispelled.
