Naartjie Kids Introduces Summer One Collection of Kids and Baby Clothes

Newest collection of children’s clothing gets inspiration from around the world, including safari animals, eastern prints and inks

PRLog - Mar. 16, 2010 - Salt Lake City, UT  -- Naartjie Kids, the original name in fun children’s clothing for sizes 0-10, announces the arrival of its Summer One collection of baby clothes and children’s clothing. The styles in this season’s clothing celebrates the warmth of summer with colors, fabrics and themes from around the world.

“For kids, summer is about being out of school, family vacations fun and adventure,” said Joe Norwood, director of marketing, Naartjie USA. “Naartjie Kids Summer One gets its inspiration from fabrics and colors of the world. Our infants collection is themed around travel and the boys line borrows from the youthful expressions of the X Games skateboard scene.

The Girls Summer One collection derives its exotic colors and textures from around the globe. The moro floral print inspired by Moroccan tiles and the playful mendi print inspired by henna mendi art mix with our crisp global stripe in a new color pallet for a fresh look with summer sizzle. The newborn girls and boys pieces extend the theme of travel, with adventurous friends giraffes, elephants and monkeys, for a summer safari. The unisex infant print makes the perfect neutral baby shower gift.

Naartjie Kids boys’ Summer One collection gets cues from the X games skateboard scene, with bold bright colors of the sea: java, citron and ultra turq. Pieced striped polo shirts mix with oversized plaids and intense graphics. Plaid short sleeve shirts paired with hip, longer shorts create a relaxed skater vibe.

Designed and constructed for the utmost in comfort, Naartjie Kids clothes are made from natural fabrics which are garment-dyed using a process that yields a more vibrant color and softer feel. The fabrics are also pre-washed and pre-shrunk for reliable fit, easy wear and low maintenance. The 100% cotton fabric used for most of Naartjie Kids’ clothes is combed and ring-spun for softness and improved durability.

The ultimate in mix-and-match, Naartjie Kids introduces new colors, prints and styles within a grouping to allow customers to create outfits from the entire assortment. Each article of clothing has been designed to be coordinated with other patterns and colors in the collection. For instance, a small red cherry on the cuff of a pant in December becomes embroidery on a shirt in March. This continuity from line to line helps moms and their kids continually put together fresh outfits, allowing a favorite item to be worn longer than usual.
