Follow on Google News | Southern California Award-Winning Author and Broadcaster Continues Book TourAward Winning Author Manny Pacheco has upcoming book signings for his new book, "Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History."
By: Manny Pacheco, Author Pacheco has established a local book tour with upcoming stops as a Moderator at the Latino Book and Family Festival in October. In addition, the author is already planning a stop in Seattle. The highlight of his book signings took place during an Orange County Screenwriters Association event. The Regency South Coast Village Theatre had asked the author to do in-house book signing after a Q&A with award winning screenplay writer J. Michael Strazcynski. Manny recently appeared on FOX 11 with Tony Valdez (in L.A.). The National Best Books 2009 Awards, sponsored by USA Book News has just announced their latest winners of national authored works from the largest entry field in its six-year history. "Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History" won in the History: Media/Entertainment category. Additionally, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills accepted the submission of "Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History" to their Margaret Herrick Library. The author’s book was deemed “culturally significant” Pacheco is a 28-year member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, and has worked in television and radio in Southern California for three decades. He has appeared on NBC’s Santa Barbara, and the Daytime Emmy-nominated, In Studio on KCOP. The book is available for sale at The Paley Center For Media in Beverly Hills; and on Amazon, and at Borders, Barnes & Noble, The Hollywoodland Experience and Souvenirs of Hollywood gift shops in Los Angeles.
