Green education courses from Green Real Estate Education will be offered in colleges in Texas, Florida, Arizona, Oklahoma City and Colorado in the coming months.
Green Real Estate Education, the leader in offering green education for under $100, has contracted with colleges across the country to offer their certification courses to home inspectors, mortgage professionals and real estate agents for continuing education credits.
Attendees will learn how to define green building products and systems, and guide buyers with an understanding of healthier and sustainable materials.
They will learn about green building rating standards, learn about renewable energy and how it relates to the real estate industry.
Students will learn about energy efficient mortgage products, to share with perspective buyers and why an investment in green property will be a good decision for future value. “We are pleased to be offering our education on the community college level.” says Kerry Mitchell, President of Green Real Estate Education. “We have taught 6,000 and hope to reach 10,000 but this years end.’” The coursework from Green Real Estate Education addresses indoor air quality issues and has energy saving tips for the students to share with their clients. Energy experts and raters sometimes address the students on the class and offer ideas and information on techniques on saving energy.
Case studies and classroom discussions facilitate the attendees' understanding of the many dynamic aspects of how these issues affect real estate transactions.
Green Real Estate Education was established in early 2006. Green Real Estate Education offers the fastest growing "green certification"
