Utah Onions Hires New Marketing Director
Syracuse, Utah, March 2, 2010¬--Utah Onions, one of North America’s most reputable onion growers, has hired marketing talent Darcie Liptrot to oversee its increased marketing efforts.
Liptrot brings with her a wide variety of relevant experience with her to aide in her new role. Most recently, she has worked as a contracts negotiator for the oil industry and before that, Marketing Director in Utah’s residential and commercial construction industries.
“Our business has been growing by leaps and bounds this season, and we only expect it to continue in the coming seasons,” Said Shawn Hartley of Utah Onions. “Hiring a marketing director seemed to be the natural next step. Darcie understands the sales and marketing world very well. We are eager to see how she will apply her knowledge here at Utah Onions. “
Darcie will be responsible for implementing promotional and sales strategies, website and internet marketing and Public Relations for Utah Onions.
