Commit to Give – New England (CTGNE) formed in February 2010, is a new volunteer group that provides non-profit and individual fundraising organizations, in the New England area, an opportunity to connect with people that have an interest in volunteering or supporting a particular cause.
Irene Johnson, Group Organizer stated “Many of us want to volunteer or donate, but do not know how, when or where. This group was established to fill that need.” By joining the group, Commit to Give – New England, volunteer organizers and event organizers can post their events and/or volunteer opportunities on both the Meetup.com and Facebook.com sites.
