Microwave Digestion: NOVAWAVE - New Automated Sample Digestion System

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 15, 2010 - SCP SCIENCE is pleased to announce the introduction of the NOVAWAVE microwave digestion system. NOVAWAVE delivers a dramatic improvement in sample throughput and speed of digestion plus a major reduction in labour and human intervention compared to any other digestion system. A microwave sample digestion tunnel system employing 12 dynamically operating micro cavities to process 12 samples simultaneously. Other features include individual sample temperature control and monitoring; seamless microwave power control with no duty cycle; built-in EPA and DIN methods; and USB/Ethernet port connectivity for data processing and storage.

Up to 168 samples at once – With the NOVAWAVE Transporter attachment, prepare up to 14 racks of 12 samples at a time. The Transporter acts as a conveyor, automatically loading a new rack of samples into the microwave and removing the digested samples to the auto-cooling and auto-venting stations.

Versatility – NOVAWAVE is available in two configurations: stand alone Model SA and fully automated Model FA; the former can be upgraded at any time.
