Washington D.C. TargetGov will host a free national teleconference, “How to Cut Through the Clutter, Chatter & Confusion of Social Media”, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 to help businesses implement effective campaigns targeting the government contracting market using social media. Joan Stewart, a nationally recognized media relations consultant will join Gloria Berthold Larkin, President of TargetGov an expert on government contracting to discuss how businesses can use new social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, along with more traditional tools, to improve their reputation and promote themselves.
The initiative of businesses to use popular social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter has exploded in the past two years. However, the majority of companies fail to utilize all of the major marketing assets the sites provide.
