International Cricket Council or ICC organizes the Cricket World Cup after every four years. In the year 1975, the first Cricket World Cup was hosted by England. The top ten ICC test playing nations are Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
Four teams will join them after qualifying from the ICC World Cup qualifier. They are Canada, Kenya, Ireland and Netherlands. Australia has bagged the title thrice, i.e. in 1999, 2003 and 2007, whereas West Indies has bagged twice, i.e. 1975 and 1979.
