The Breanna McIntyre Collection of Religious Impressionism

Breanna McIntyre's collection of religious impressionism is "refreshingly conventional" and awaits the claim of a local art venue.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 16, 2010 -
Tallahassee, FL - While a cultural appreciation for modern religious art is essentially passe, this has not kept Breanna McIntyre from making her claim in the industry. Born in California, McIntyre began painting religious art after college in Tennessee, and has recently finished a collection of pieces that resides in Tallahassee, Florida. The collection has an impressionistic edge to traditional relic art, and one review deemed it "refreshingly conventional".

With her Masters in Old Testament Theology from Liberty University and the long-term goal of teaching Apologetics in the university-setting, we asked her where the religious art ambition took place. Her response was short and sincere, "More God and less talking". She did have more to say on why her paintings fall in the category of "Religious Impressionism". McIntyre's comments were as follows: "In my opinion, the postmodern Christian movement gives the word 'religious' a bad rap, denoting legalism of sorts or the lack of personal intimacy with a relational being. I, myself, have a rather fond appreciation for the word, as it mentally conjures up a history of those who have gone before; saints who have lived and died a life in search of Jesus Christ, and we have a lot we can learn from them." Upcoming news on the collection's official launch will be posted shortly.
