Kevin Staker Temporarily Changes Name of Estate Planning Blog

Kevin Staker has temporarily changed the name of the main Kevin Staker estate planning blog.  The old name was "California Estate Planning".  The new name of the main Kevin Staker blog is now "Estate Tax News".   The blog is hosted on Wordpress.com and is located at http://kevinstaker.wordpress.com/  The reason for the change is that Kevin Staker had been keeping abreast daily with the news from Congress regarding the Estate Tax.  He thought since he was checking, he might as well report on his findings.  

Kevin Staker is very concerned about the uncertainty in the estate tax.  There is no estate tax this year, giving an evil incentive to rich people to kill themselves by the end of the year.  The reason is that if there is no change the estate tax will come back on January 1, 2011, with only a $1,000,000 exemption. There is talk in Congress and by the President of not allowing that to happen and setting the exemption at $3,500,000.
