Not only is this a fairly high end resolution, but it is also backed up by some handy features which improve the results even further. Thanks to its 480 x 800 resolution and capability of displaying 16 million colours the screen is sharp and crisp, the one downside however is the Resistive nature of this touchscreen rather than Samsung adopting the more responsive capacitive technology. An accelerometer chip is built in meaning the handset has an auto rotate facility that works well. For example when vertical the screen will display a numeric keypad but turn it 90 degrees to a landscape position and the keypad is now of a QWERTY variety.
