Velodrome team rider, James Hanson, was involved in an accident on his bicycle on February 28th. He is currently in the hospital suffering from serious injuries. The day of the accident, an employee of Palms Cycle gave Jimmy a helmet to borrow. That helmet later saved his life. Now Palms Cycle wants to help James out. So they are holding the following event for all who wish to participate
What: Gold Sprints Benefit- BBQ, Music, Raffle

Ages 21 and over.
To bring awareness to the entire Westside cycling community about the importance of wearing a helmet every time you head out on your bike, Palms Cycle will hold the following special event:

The week of March 21-27 Helmet awareness week in the shop in support of Jimmy's healing. If you buy a helmet that week you have a choice of getting $5 off or donating your $5 to Jimmy's Benefit. We want every rider to have a helmet on their heads!
