About the Author: David B. White was an intern in media relations with the Washington Redskins during the 1988-1989 season. He was a sports journalist for the Sun Sentinel Newspaper in Miami in the early ‘90s and also wrote for newspapers as a sports and police reporter in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. White suffered with OCD at a time when its effects were not well known. He credits his mother’s love and his close friends for getting him through the tough times. Now living in Pennsylvania, White lectures on OCD to university students, and works in media relations for the Philadelphia Eagles and as an employee benefits consultant for Richard J. Princinsky and Associates, Inc. of Hunt Valley, Maryland.
