BenAlpin supports global ATM Security Webinar

March 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Lachlan Gunn, Director of BenAlpin Ltd, presented at a global Webinar on 11th March 2010 organised by the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) and entitled ‘International ATM Security Summit 2010’.  The Webinar focussed on PCI compliance and ATM Security.

Lachlan, who is also founder and a Director of the European ATM Security Team (EAST) gave an update on Current ATM Crime Trends in Europe.  This included background information on EAST, the number of ATMs deployed in Europe (overall and by country), progress towards EMV compliance by European ATM deployers, and the latest available European ATM crime statistics for ATM related fraud attacks and ATM related physical attacks.

Other Webinar topics were: a Global Skimming Overview & Prevention Measures; Security Trends and Emerging Threats; a PCI Update for the ATM Industry.
