Cary, North Carolina -- Alison Hill, a native of Wales in the British Isles, has enjoyed a successful and diverse media career working as an investigative journalist, TV host, writer, producer and director; documentary filmmaker, and commentator for BBC Radio. Now based in the heart of the Triangle, Alison has begun training writers and authors in media readiness.
Her first talk locally was held through the Raleigh Write to Publish meet-up in Cary to a full house and a rapt audience. Based on feedback from the event, Alison developed her Media Ready, Media Savvy interactive workshop to be offered March 23rd in China Town's attractive and comfortable private dining space on the Cary / Morrisville line.
The workshop will focus specifically on preparing participants, through interactive exercises, to have ready answers and strategies for drawing and keeping media attention; to skillfully liaise with media professionals, and to make each opportunity for publicity a success.
