Daniel decided to develop a baby care range after the birth of his first son, as he became more aware of children’s products, “I was interested in what went into baby shampoos so started to do some research on the ingredients. Chemical ingredients found in hair products can ‘charge up’ kids like sugary junk food. 60% of these ingredients are easily absorbed into the skin so you can imagine the harm it could cause in the long term.”
Harsh synthetics have no place on the delicate skin of babies. The worst contender is Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, a harsh detergent used in engine degreasers and garage fl oor cleaners, known to have carcinogenic properties. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate can also
irritate and dry skin and aggravate conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, so for Daniel it was an important step to create a product range for babies which contained only the best and safest ingredients for their skin.
