Established Family Butcher Becomes Leading Online Butcher

The new website is the latest phase in the Cwmbran-based company’s redevelopment, which began last year with a total rebranding exercise.

Formerly known as Croesllan Catering to the trade and Willis Butchers at its 2 retail outlets – situated at the Parade Shopping Centre and Llanyravon Square, Cwmbran – both sides of the business were brought under the banner of Douglas Willis, to provide a more distinct identity and allow fuller recognition of the strong family heritage.

The launch of the new website now means that Douglas Willis has effectively become a traditional local butcher ‘online’ – allowing customers from much further afield to sample the premium range of products with all the ease and efficiency expected of a modern delivery service.

All the meat available – some of which is sourced from the family’s own farms - is hand-cut, prepared and inspected to the highest standards by the company’s experienced butchers prior to leaving the factory and securely vacuum-packed and sealed to ensure freshness and longevity.

Orders are kept below 5 degrees from the time they are cut and prepared until delivered to the doorstep, with a minimum shelf life for fresh pork beef and lamb of six days and four days for fresh poultry.

Douglas Willis will deliver exactly what the customer requires, in whatever quantity.
