She received her B.S. in Education and M.A. from Kent State University and her Au.D. From A.T. Still University. Dr. Abel served as a member of the Board of the American Academy of Audiology, chaired the Academy’s Coding and Reimbursement Committee, served as a member of the Academy’s Ethical Practice Board and was a member and past Chair of the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is an Athena Award recipient
