Eaton Names Raja Kochar India Managing Director
PUNE - March 11, 2010 … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Raja Kochar has been named managing director – India, reporting to Curt Hutchins, president – Asia Pacific. Kochar succeeds Shyam Kambeyanda, who was named regional president – Asia Pacific, for the Hydraulics Group. In this role, Kochar will be responsible for working with Eaton's businesses to develop strategies that build overall presence and success in India.

Kochar joined Eaton in 2009 as senior director – India Information Technology Center, and was later named vice president – Corporate IT, Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Eaton, he was senior vice president at MphasiS Corporation, an EDS company, and a senior director at Answerthink. He also has experience in operational strategy consulting and financial and marketing analysis.
Kochar earned his bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry and physics from the University of Bombay in India, and his master’s of business administration with a concentration in finance and information systems from Pace University in New York.
