There are some ways to heal presbyopia.

Presbyopia treatment can consist of eye surgery. There are two types of surgery that can correct the problem: Monovision with Lasik surgery and Conductive Keratoplasty Surgery. In the Lasik surgery the surgeon uses laser technology to produce monovision in the eyes. This means that he will fix the dominant eye to have long distance vision, and the other eye will have near vision.

After Monovision with Lasik surgery you would not have to use glasses. It is highly recommended that you try monovision contact lenses before you decide on this type of surgery. The eyes of some people cannot adjust to monovision.

Conductive Keratoplasty Surgery uses controlled radio frequency energy to reshape the cornea. It is usually done on only one eye.

Vision therapy is another effective treatment for Presbyopia. It can delay the beginning of the problem or keep it from progressing if it has already started. Vision therapy is a series of exercises that must be performed daily. It requires a lot of determination and discipline on the part of the individual to make it successful. It requires 30 minutes of your time each day.
