Pasco County, FL (Mar. 10, 2010) - Joanne Rivera-Therrell, founder and CEO of Legacy Transitions, recently attended the annual conference sponsored by the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) held in Las Vegas, NV.
Over the three-day conference, Ms. Rivera-Therrell attended programs that emphasized best practices, proven methods, fresh approaches and operational concepts and solutions. Several nationally-acclaimed speakers provided educational sessions created to help transition specialists with daily business activities, strategic planning and professional development resulting in a multitude of new ideas and solutions that can be applied immediately to everyday challenges in the moving and relocation services.
While attending the conference, Ms. Rivera-Therrell also earned continuing education units towards her credentials as a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS).
The mission of NASMM is to facilitate the physical and emotional aspects of relocation for older adults, to increase industry awareness, to establish a national referral network, to enhance the professional competence of members, and to promote the delivery of our services with compassion and integrity.
