Tulsa, OK (Grassroots Newswire) March 10, 2010 – Realtors with ERA John Hausam recently kicked off their annual fundraising effort for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) through a Wine Collection for the Hunt For the Cure Event to be held in Tulsa March 20, 2010. The Realtors plan to collect over fifty bottles of wine. All proceeds raised will benefit "Jerry's Kids."
The wine, valued at $25 dollars or more per bottle will be used for the Wine Pull Event at The Hunt For the Cure. Event attendees will pay $25 to “pull” a wine cork from a hat. Each cork is marked to a corresponding bottle of wine. Winning guests take their bottle of wine home and “Jerry’s Kids” benefit directly from the fundraiser.
This will be the fourth annual Hunt For The Cure Event in Tulsa. MDA has set the goal to raise $175,000. The event will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in downtown Tulsa.
"It's very gratifying and encouraging to see our Realtors, local businesses and other members of the community joining together in support of such a worthy cause," said John Hausam, President and Broker of ERA John Hausam, Realtors. "It's local efforts such as the Wine Pull that can make all the difference in the world for those served by MDA nationwide."
