Pasco County, FL (Mar. 10, 2010) - Fundraising for nonprofit organizations is becoming more of a challenge day by day. The present economic climate makes traditional fundraising methods difficult to sell. Volunteers are working extra hours to make ends meet while others spend hours to plan and execute an event only to discover diminishing returns for all the effort.
Ashok Visuvasam, owner of On The Spot Lube, has a fresh new fundraising idea to help out community nonprofits while also providing a necessary service to the fundraisers supporters.
Mr. Visuvasam will offer a full-fledged oil change that includes a new filter, topping all fluids, checking tire pressure and a ten point visual safety check and he does all that at the supporters place of business or home. He charges a reasonable fee for this service, a portion of which goes to the selected nonprofit.
On The Spot vehicles are installed with EPA-certified equipment that vacuums oil through the dip stick. There is no mess or bother with drain plugs. Also, an insurance plan is in place indemnifying the organization of all liabilities. On The Spot Lube is licensed and registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and is an approved vendor for the Pasco School District.
For complete details, nonprofit organizations interested in learning more about bringing in much needed fundraising dollars may call Mr. Visuvasam at (813) 333-1622. Currently Trinity Oaks Elementary School, Connections Job Development, The Lighthouse for the Blind & Visually Impaired and the Knights of Columbus Council 1168 are working with Mr. Visuvasam on this fundraiser.
