Incorporating quality, function, and design, the Modern Light brand will offer fresh candle and home fragrance solutions to the smart consumer seeking work-life balance.
“Today’s shopper is busier than ever trying to balance family and career,” said Mei Xu, owner and founder of PTI. “She is looking for candle and home fragrance products that provide a unique lifestyle experience, that are easy to find, and won’t break her budget. Modern Light will provide her with simple solutions to everyday challenges.”
As with the Chesapeake Bay Candle brand, Modern Light products are distinguished by a design-driven approach and a clean modern aesthetic. Modern Light fragrances are unique, highly refined, yet understandable. All product collections are conceptualized and designed by PTI’s in-house Product Development & Design team and are based on extensive trend and consumer-lifestyle research.
The Modern Light product portfolio includes pillar candles, jar candles, tealights, tapers, votives, reed diffusers and additional home fragrance alternatives.
Modern Light retail prices are highly competitive, ranging from $0.99 (tapers) to $9.99 (120ml reed diffusers).
While PTI’s premium brand Chesapeake Bay Candle is primarily available through specialty stores and mid-tier department stores, Modern Light will be marketed through food, drug and mass stores.
The introduction of the Modern Light collection at the Chicago Home + Housewares Show includes four product lines: RefreshAir (an innovative air care collection), Magic Glow (a personalized home fragrance and décor collection), Corner Bakery (a lifestyle collection inspired by the gourmand and designer-bakery trend), and Aroma Essentials (a collection of home fragrance necessities)
