Follow on Google News | Huntington's Disease Society Backs Cross-USA RollerbladersTwo athletes are rollerblading across the United States, from St. Augustine, Florida, to San Diego, California, in an attempt to raise awareness and at least $1,000,000 for select charities.

This group of dedicated and driven individuals has taken the plight of a terminal brain disease on a cross country journey to share HDSA’s mission, tell HDSA’s story and most importantly offer hope to the thousands of individuals affected by Huntington’s Disease each year." The In Motion For A Million team is expected to reach Kerrville March 11. They will continue on to Ingram and Hunt on March 12, with a plan to stop for the night in either Vanderpool or Leakey. On March 13, the team will plan to continue on to Camp Wood, Montell and Bracketville. On March 14, the team will shoot to be in Del Rio. The team is currently inviting willing volunteers to get together and host mini-fundraisers for In Motion For A Million. Whether the fundraiser is a group of family and friends at someone's house or a community gathering, the team is looking to the people to help them achieve their one million dollar fundraising goal. If the fundraiser in along the route, the team will plan to stop by. Otherwise, donations raised can be submitted directly to the www.inmotionforamillion.org site.
