March 10, 2010 - PRLog -- uTest, the world’s largest software testing marketplace, today announced that CEO of uTest Doron Reuveni will present at QCon London on March 12th at 2pm. The topic of the presentation will be “The Best Way to Test Mobile Applications.”

“With the number of approved apps in Apple’s App Store well over 100,000 and Android topping the 20,000 mark, getting high-quality mobile apps to market quickly is critical,” said Reuveni. “But the testing methods that have worked in the past for web and desktop apps fall short of meeting mobile’s ‘in-the-wild’ testing demands. Fortunately, crowdsourced testing is uniquely suited to meet these challenges.”

Doron is one of five software testing leaders who was chosen to present in the “How Do You Test That?” track. There are many applications that are difficult to test in an automated manner; this track will explore unique solutions that have been created to address situations in which automated testing doesn’t suffice.

In this session, Doron will examine the complimentary role a community of professional testers plays in mobile testing, as well as address the benefits and challenges of a crowdsourced model compared with conventional testing methods.

Organized jointly by the JAOO conference and the InfoQ.com Enterprise Software Development Community, QCon is the result of 13 years of combined expertise in producing quality conferences for the enterprise software development community. QCon sessions reflect both the hard-hitting problems facing enterprise software today as well as the cutting edge themes that will become mainstream tomorrow.

QCon London takes place in The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre from March 10-12, 2010.
