Come June 2010, Asia Pacific’s leading mobile operators will gather at Prepaid Mobile North Asia to discuss the anticipated thrust for prepaid mobile development in the next 5 years. Organized by Telecom IQ of IQPC, this summit will bring together key figures in the telecommunications industry to promote cross-regional sharing between industry players in the ASEAN and Greater China region.
Slated for the 22nd to the 23rd of June 2010, the summit will be held at Shanghai. Confirmed speakers include Ben Foote, Managing Director of PPS, a Singtel Optus company. Areehan Abdullah, General Manager of Marketing from Celcom Malaysia will be sharing on leveraging on mobile commerce to increase prepaid profitability.
Past attendee Subhash Bhargava, Chief Financial Officer of Lao Telecom, shared that the event has been valuable in providing new ideas while also presenting ample business and networking opportunities. Likewise, senior management executives from Maxis have commented on the summit’s relevance for peer sharing. “It brought together telco people – more ideas can be exchanged, views and opinions are open for debate.
