Local entrepreneur and surfer, Neil Foreman, has launched the PIPELINEPONCHO™
, an eco-friendly surf garment made from hemp and organic cotton material that provides modesty while changing into and out of a wetsuit. Though intended for surfers, the PIPELINEPONCHO™
is perfect for all water sports enthusiasts and those who have to change into and out of wetsuits or other sports apparel outdoors.
“All surfers are familiar with the struggle to change into and out of a wetsuit in the parking lots and streets near our beaches, “said Neil Foreman, founder of the PIPELINEPONCHO™
, “It can be tough to keep a towel in place around the waist while pulling and tugging at a wetsuit.”
Designed with a generous fit, the PIPELINEPONCHO™
will accommodate most adult body types.
PIPELINEPONCHO™
is not only made of sustainable materials, it’s manufactured locally as well. “It was important for me to manufacture the garment locally with environmentally friendly materials, particularly during this tough economic climate,” he said.
The PIPELINEPONCHO™
is made of 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton and locally manufactured in San Diego, California. Hemp is a naturally mold-resistant material that maintains its shape and is gentle on sensitive skin. Neil intends to sell the PIPELINEPONCHO™
in local surf shops around the San Diego and Southern California area.
