Just Between Friends Partnership with New Bridge Family Shelter
New Bridge Family Shelter is a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, clothing, food and other resources to abused woman and children. They currently serve all of the Concho Valley and San Angelo, TX.
The partnership between JBF and New Bridge Family Shelter makes sense because both groups strive to help families. JBF provides high quality clothing, furniture, toys and other kid-related items at low prices. Consignors also earn up to 70 percent when they sell their items. Hundreds of Concho Valley families make cash from de-cluttering their homes and many more reap the benefits of clothing their children and meeting other childcare needs for their children.
New Bridge Family Shelter reaps the most benefit from the thousands of donated items at the end of the sale. From clothing to toys to furniture, New Bridge Family Shelter is able to give these items to families in need. From the JBF Fall 2009 Sale New Bridge Family Shelter received over $11,000 in donated merchandise as well as over $600 cash in admission fees.
Just Between Friends will hold their Spring 2010 sale April 30th - May 1st at Lifepoint Baptist Church Family Center. Exclusive presales will be held on April 29th for first-time moms, grandmothers, foster parents, teachers, military, fireman, and police families, home schooling families, volunteers and consignors of the sale. JBF will be taking a $3 admission fee on April 30th to benefit New Bridge Family Shelter. JBF will also be donating all unsold items to New Bridge Family Shelter.
“It is a privilege for JBF and our consignors to help woman and children through New Bridge Family Shelter,” explains JBF Owner Sandy Jameson. “New Bridge Family Shelter helps an average of 30-35 families each month.”
