By: International Trade Center, Dallas-SBDC With well over 20 years of experience, Adrienne Braumiller, Braumiller Schulze, LLP, is widely recognized as a leading authority in Customs, import, export, and ITAR compliance. She has presented as a distinguished lecturer for such groups as the American Association of Exporters and Importers, the Import Compliance Professional's Association, the American Petroleum Institute, and the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones. In January of 2008, Ms. Braumiller was appointed by Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Paulson, Jr., and Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff to serve a second, two year term on the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection (COAC). In this role, Ms. Braumiller will serve as one of several members representing the interests of importers and their agents. During her term, Ms. Braumiller is expected to assist with many critical topics related to trade facilitation and security, including program initiatives as well as legislative mandates. Braumiller Schulz LLP is a Customs and International Trade law firm based in Dallas with affiliated offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
