Los Angeles, CA – March 8, 2010 -- LSI – Feature film FIX, directed by Tao Ruspoli starring Olivia Wilde (“House”), Shawn Andrews (DAZED AND CONFUSED) and Megalyn Echikunwoke (“24”, “C.S.I. Miami”) will be released on DVD March 9, 2010.
The award-winning film, which Oliver Stone said marks the arrival of "a bold new style and talent", follows documentary filmmakers Bella (Wilde) and Milo (director Tao Ruspoli) as they race against time in a journey across Los Angeles. The duo attempt to deliver Milo’s brother Leo (Andrews) from jail to rehab before an 8PM deadline, or Leo goes back to jail for three years. FIX made a strong impression on the festival circuit and had a successful theatrical run in New York City last fall.
FIX production partners and distributors, Mangusta Productions, are giving away a free music playlist on fixthemovie.com. Artists on the FIX soundtrack include Dead Prez, Ima Robot, Simon Dawes, Woven, Brother Reade, The Beautiful Girls, and Isaac Sprintis.
