LITTLETON, Colo. (March 9, 2010)—The March on-line issue of ULTRAPURE WATER journal leads off with an exclusive interview of Paul Turgeon, president and COO of BWA Water Additives (BWA Water). The article provides background about BWA Water, which provides specialty water treatment chemical products used in desalination, municipal, and industrial applications, and then explores Mr. Turgeon’s perspective on the water business. Mr. Turgeon notes three trends impacting the specialty water treatment business: water conservation and reuse, environmentally friendly products, and the development of new biocides. “Environmental regulations are different around the world. What is green here may not be “green” in Europe or Japan because regulations haven’t been normalized around the world,” he said in the interview.
