We're looking for a few good men and women - that's been the mantra for the past few weeks for Cleveland, TN based message on hold company, AAA Phone On Hold.
Following an announcement in late February that the company has forecasted a 5% increase in sales for fiscal year ending September 2010, AAA Phone On Hold set out to expand their national sales presence.
After considering many options available for finding qualified individuals, the company's General Manager, Bruce Livolsi decided to utilize one of the most widely known job search websites, http://Craigslist.org. "We felt that we could reach more web savvy sales people by using Craig's List," Livolsi said. "Our goal is to find experienced sales reps who are interested in exploring more than just the traditional ways of marketing."
Well, it appears that they've accomplished their goal with the addition of their first outside sales representative, Nick Sottero of Modesto, CA. Nick is a computer science major at Delta College in Stockton, who brings with him several years of traditional sales experience including lead generation & cold calling, along with a strong emphasis on search engine optimization and web development. "My primary focus (at first) is understanding the product and industry, and putting together some call lists, as well as a conversation guild. Call notes if you will. I am going over some good info (online) and gaining some good ideas," Mr. Sottero stated.
The company is very pleased to have Nick working on finding new clients, and developing & maintaining relationships with other telecommunications professionals such as business telephone installation technicians and sales reps, as well as new phone service providers, including voice over internet protocol (VOIP) companies. Nick's territory will not be limited to the west coast, but will include all of North America. This will be the case for all sales reps that work for the company in the future. Mr. Livolsi told us, "We don't plan to limit the potential of any of our representatives, either by outlining territories or by forcing a predetermined way of marketing our brand. We have certain procedures and standards of ethical professional practice that we would like them to follow, but aside from that, we want our people to educate us with new ways of bringing our services to the attention of organizations that want and need them."
Who exactly are prospective clients the sales reps will be contacting? "Any business with a 'land based' phone system, including companies using VOIP services," advised Livolsi.
AAA Phone On Hold's services include providing businesses with a cost-effective way to enhance their brand image by utilizing regularly updated customized audio messages written by professional script writers, and digitally recorded with national voice talents & licensed music, for the purpose of promoting their products & services while callers are waiting on hold. They also call their clients regularly to ensure that their phone on hold message is working for them. In rares cases when the message isn't playing, the company's tech support helps the client get their on hold marketing message working again. For more info visit http://AAAPhoneOnHold.com
