Minneapolis, MN—March 10, 2010—Back by popular demand, Two Right Feet Dance is hosting its 2nd annual Geezer Gala—'50s Sock Hop & Alzheimer's Fund-raiser Saturday, March 20 from 7-10 p.m. at St. Clements Church in Northeast Minneapolis. The church is located 1 block west of Central Avenue at Lowry. Geezerdom is NOT required; all adults are welcome.
Dressing for the era is strongly encouraged but not required.
Live music is provided by Rich & the Resistors, and there will be awards given for the best '50s costume/dancers and Name That Tune champion.
Discount tickets are available until March 15 if ordered online at www.tworightfeetdance.com. Otherwise, they are $20 at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales as well as drive-in-movie photo ops, overseen by local filmmaker Christopher Mihm, and a retro-style silent auction will benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota/North Dakota's support programs.
