A survey that was carried out recently on the visitors to the United Kingdom has revealed that a highly positive impression has been created by the tourist attractions of North Wales on the tourists. The survey was conducted by Tourism Partnership and Visit Wales.
Incidentally, Visit Wales, in a survey carried out by itself last year had reported that a good number of visitors had lamented the region to be old fashioned, unfriendly and rude then. Nevertheless, the recent results revealed 90 per cent of the visiting tourists reporting the region as friendly and 87 per cent claiming of having had a warm welcome here.
According to the business development manager at Tourism Partnership, Andrew Forfar, the results were not only phenomenal, but also a source of pride. He claimed that he could not imagine that there existed many places in the world, which could boast of such an incredible success rate, and they liked to think that the warmest welcome in the United Kingdom was attributed to North Wales.
It is also worth noting that the North Wales businesses has backed this assessment.
Meanwhile, the owner of Lobster Pot restaurant in Church Bay, Steffan Coupe said that there was a lot more stress on a cordial welcome these days. He also claimed that they had to compete for visitors with a good number of places within the country and this was one way they did it.
Popular UK car rental company Car-Hire-UK has been promptly rendering their value for money vehicle rental offers bundled with meticulous customer care and roadside assistance across the key cities and towns across North Wales for a good time now. This company too has obviously contributed to the success enjoyed by the region at present.
