Following the administration of the off-licensed retail chain First Quench, Ryden has been appointed to dispose of six store leases held under the Victoria Wine, Threshers and Haddows franchises.
Four are former Victoria Wine stores and are located at 84 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh (1,633 sq ft), 38-40 Reform Street, Dundee (2,152 sq ft), 50 High Street, Dingwall (1,873 sq ft) and 7 High Street, Buckie (1,667 sq ft). The units are on the market at £26,000, £38,000, £17,500 and £10,000 per annum respectively.
In Aberdeen, the 1,076 sq ft unit at 166/170 George Street, which previously traded as Threshers, is on the market at £30,000 per annum and the former Haddows store within Summerhill Court Shopping Centre, Lang Stracht, extending 1,371 sq ft, is available to lease at £12,500 per annum.
Will Biggart, surveyor at Ryden, commented: “These units offer excellent opportunities to obtain space in prime high street locations. We are expecting to attract interest from a wide range of occupiers including charity shops, bookmakers, bakers and coffee shops.”
Ryden was instructed to market each retail unit by individual private landlords.
